The Siltech Classic Legend MkII 280L opens the Classic Legend range of loudspeaker cables, bringing Siltech’s silver-gold within reach and retiring the copper-conductor Explorer. Two G9 cores run as a twisted coaxial pair, terminated to choice in spade or banana.
Gold worked into silver gives the G9 alloy a purity copper cannot reach, so dynamics and tone pass from amplifier to loudspeaker intact. Carbon-infused shielding holds back the electrical interference that surrounds the run, and an air-filled insulation keeps the geometry stable and capacitance low. The terminations are refinished in a thicker, nickel-free gold for a settled grip at both ends.
An assured first step into the Siltech sound, the 280L stays clear and composed. Handmade in the Netherlands.
