The Siltech Classic Legend MkII 280i opens the Classic Legend range, putting Siltech’s silver-gold conductor within reach of more systems than before and retiring the copper-conductor Explorer in the process. A line-level interconnect built on two G9 conductors, offered single-ended on RCA or balanced on XLR.
The G9 alloy works gold into silver, reaching a purity copper cannot, so timing and tonal colour survive the journey to the listener. Carbon-infused shielding answers the electrical and radio interference that surrounds any signal cable, while an air-filled insulation keeps the conductor geometry undisturbed and capacitance low. The connector pins are refinished in a thicker, nickel-free gold.
None of this draws attention to itself. Composure is the 280 Series character, a quiet and unhurried way into the Siltech sound, with the rest of the range waiting above. Handmade in the Netherlands.
