Rega’s Planar 6 features the RB330 tonearm and a dual-layer float glass platter. The included Neo turntable power supply, now standard with the Planar 6, provides convenient speed selection, advanced anti-vibration control, and electronic fine speed adjustment.

RB330
The RB330 tonearm, designed by Rega using the latest 3D CAD & CAM technology, represents the culmination of over 35 years of tonearm design experience. It features a brand new bearing housing, and the latest tonearm tube designed by Rega using intelligent redistribution of mass, ensuring fewer points of possible resonance. The arm’s extreme stability and almost friction-free movement from the new high precision bearing assemblies are crafted to gather more information from vinyl than ever before.
Plinth
The plinth of the turntable is made from a super lightweight foam core, ensuring minimal resonance. The plinth laminate is the new Polaris HPL (high pressure laminate), which is non-marking and scratch-resistant, adding to the durability and aesthetic appeal of the product. The available finish is ‘Polaris Grey’ in a matt finish, complemented by a high gloss black polymer edge trim, offering both sophistication and high rigidity to the design.
Double Brace Technology
Rega’s double brace technology features integral custom-matched aluminium tonearm and hub pillars, designed to ensure maximum rigidity and accuracy. This advanced technology is a testament to Rega’s commitment to producing high-quality audio equipment, focusing on precision and durability to enhance the listening experience.
Custom Matched NEO TTPSU and 24 V Motor
Rega introduces a new high-spec 24 V low noise synchronous motor, with each motor meticulously matched by hand to its own Neo PSU. This careful matching ensures optimum anti-vibration control, highlighting Rega’s dedication to precision and quality in enhancing audio performance.
